We are excited to bring back Byron Shaffner to Camp! Byron is a native Dallas, Texas where he was born and raised. Byron came to Christ at an early age in his family’s home church. He came to Christ in the sixth grade, and was called to ministry at the end of his ninth grade year in high school. Byron had no clue of the journey this decision would take his life on, a journey which was filled with many great days and dark days as well. Byron‘s first year in college was one of the worst years of his life, but it was from that year that his insatiable resolve to see young people come to Christ was born. Byron has a heart for all people, but especially young people, because they sit in such a crucial season of life, that so greatly impacts the future trajectory of their lives. While in college Byron did a lot of college ministry, and after college has worked with many churches ministering to their youth and young adults. His ministry exploits have carried him to various places in the United States, and also to Cuba. Byron views himself as a flawed individual like anyone else, that God is working in every day just like He is in in the lives of all those who follow Christ, and is trying his best to fulfill the call of ministry that God has placed on his life.

TRANSPORTATION TO & FROM CAMP
Buses to and from camp will depart from:
Chinese Baptist Church (900 Brogden Houston, TX 77024)
Leave from CBC: Check-in for Camp will be between 1:00-1:30pm at CBC on Sunday, July 20th.
Parents - please do not drop students off before 1:00pm so as not to disturb worship service
Return to CBC: Wednesday, July 23rd at 4:00 p.m.
